PSPS

PSPS....
Every time I hear that word I feel like screaming, especially when there is no wind or fire danger but they still cut off power to save their butts. They don’t care if we have to live on the dark for days or weeks on end. What about us? Our neighbors, our friends? What about seriously ill people who need power to live?
You say that this is to help us, but in reality you do this to cover your butts, not ours.
PG&E used to be a household name, where you never heard of anything like old lines, or old Transformers that don’t function as well now as they did when they were first installed.  You did not hear of major fires starting due to their old, outdated equipment. Yes, transformers blew and maybe a block would be in the dark, but not an entire town or county.
It’s the digital era, so shouldn’t PG&E have some way of checking on these without have a crew physically going out to check on them? One would think so.
You have caused so much damage in the past years with fires, lost property, lost town and lost lives, when do we say “Enough” and stand our ground?  This has to stop and stop now, before another catastrophe is caused by this company.  How many more lives have to be lost, property lost, and families torn apart before something is done about this?
Yes this recent PSPS was a bit better than the last one, but that is a drop in the bucket. There is so much more that needs to be done before people can trust this company again (IF they ever will).

My prediction is, people will go elsewhere to find power sources--solar, another company, who knows?

All I can say is “This has to stop, and stop now, not for PGE’s sake, but for their customers as well.
